Ahhhhhhh,
FRESH AIR!! |
To keep your rooms fresh and alive add some
live plants.
Palms and Fig trees (Ficus) are easy to care for
and bring life to any room. Neither requires
direct light and watering weekly (only when soil
is dry) will keep them looking wonderful. The
green is pleasant to the eye and the trees
inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen to keep
the room fresh. You can never go wrong with live
plants in your home. |

AMBIANCE!!
It’s all about AMBIANCE!! |
Remember, lighting in a room can make or
break the mood.
The softer the light, the more relaxed you feel.
Dimmers are a great way to have the best of both
worlds. Just plug them into your lamp and you
can adjust it to high or low…Depending on the
mood…
And a very special tip:
Of all shapes, the triangle is most pleasing to
the human eye. Lighting will be improved with
the benefit of triangular placement in a room.
|

And more AMBIANCE… |
Darken the wick of your candles by lighting
and burning
them for a few moments to make them appear that
they are actually used. However, I do encourage
you to actually “use them” after all, you
deserve it. |

PLACEMENT (Furniture) |
Angled furniture placement always adds
interest to your room.
I know, I know….but the room will look
smaller!!! Not so, my friends. And, if your room
has a pre-existing angle, you should try to
balance it with another angle.
|

PLACEMENT (Art) |
Art should be 4”-6” above a sofa or table,
however, if it is down a hallway or viewed when
standing, it should be 54” to center.
Hmmm… What else?? |

OH YEAH!! – SCENTS... |
Place scents or sachets in your vents.
You can find these at Lowe’s for this specific
purpose. I found Pine Scents at Christmas and
they worked wonderfully! |
